Welcome all, to a loooong overdue post on a blog that is a) 14 years old this year and b) sadly neglected.

The latter point there will be rectified, as now I have my good buddy Matt Crump on board, we’ll be tag-teaming articles, and reinvigorating the blog, including the look. Lots of plans in the works, we promise!

For right now though, I’m handing over to Matt for another misty-eyed look down memory lane, and just how nostalgia can play a big part in our hobby buying decisions. Matt, over to you old bean.

Bandai Space Marine! Games Workshop finally makes TOYS!

Many of us in the gaming world are also collectors of toys (myself included). For many years a large majority of us were scratching our heads as to why GeeDub hadn’t jumped on the action figure train. Well, as many of you know, last year saw the unveiling of a collaboration between Japanese toy giant Bandai and Games Workshop to unleash a Space Marine action figure, followed shortly thereafter by McFarlane Toys who would bring it to store shelves.

Our intrepid reporter, Matt Crump, took one for the team and wrote up a review for your reading pleasure. So get some Marmite and toast together and a cuppa and lets get started. Matt, over to you sir.

Happy new year everyone!

I’m not sure about everyone else out there, but since the ‘COVIDS’ arrived and we all went into lockdown, but I started venturing beyond just listening to music while painting and moved into the podcast/YouTube territory to check something new out. I feel on some level its helped with the isolation too, as it sometimes feels like you’re on a Zoom meeting with your mates.

Hello friends! I hope that this well overdue post finds you all healthy, well and in good spirits. I’m sure you are all feeling the same as I, in that you can’t wait to leave 2020 in the rearview mirror, it’s been quite a ride. Lets hope that that twinkle of light at the end of this tunnel is starting to get a little brighter!
